The 2023 Jeep Grand Cheerokee L is built in one of Detroit’s newest production facilities, the Stellantis Detroit Assembly Complex Mack plant. It’s an all-new plant, though it’s located at a century-old manufacturing site.
Claiming a spot near the top of our midsize SUV ranking, the Grand Cherokee L is a roomy three-row, six- or seven-seat SUV with ample passenger space and, when properly equipped, the ability to tackle off-road obstacles that would defeat most rivals. It’s available with a choice of a 293-horsepower V6 or a 357-horsepower V8. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 7,200 pounds.
Jeep offers the Grand Cherokee L in six trim levels, ranging from the well-equipped Laredo to the luxurious Summit Reserve, with Palermo leather upholstery and an infotainment display for the front-seat passenger.
